Account Deletion
You may delete your TastePapa account and associated user data at any time. This page explains how deletion works and what may be retained.
1. Deleting Your Account from the App
- Open TastePapa.
- Go to Settings > Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Account deletion starts promptly. Synced user content is deleted or de-identified within thirty (30) days unless limited retention is required or permitted by law.
2. Deleting Your Account by Email
If you no longer have access to the app, submit a request from the email address associated with your account through our support page. We may require verification before processing.
3. What We Delete
- Account profile, including name, email, profile photo, and sign-in provider.
- Synced kitchen items, pantry, grocery list, saved recipes, collections, meal plan, and preferences.
- Ask Papa conversation history, prep guide history, import jobs, and usage documents tied to your account.
- Notification tokens and preferences.
- Firebase Authentication user and active sessions after account cleanup completes.
- User-owned storage objects, such as uploaded import or recipe images, where associated with your account.
4. Data That May Be Retained
- Billing receipts and subscription records required by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal obligations.
- Account deletion audit records, support requests, security logs, operational telemetry, and aggregated or de-identified analytics.
- Records necessary to protect the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce our Terms.
5. Subscriptions
Deleting your TastePapa account does not cancel an active TastePapa Pro subscription. Cancel through Apple App Store or Google Play. See the Subscription Terms.
6. Reinstatement
Account deletion is permanent. We cannot recover deleted user content. You may create a new account later.
