Subscription Terms
These Subscription Terms apply to TastePapa Pro, the optional paid subscription to the TastePapa Service. These terms supplement the TastePapa Terms of Service.
1. Subscription Plans
TastePapa Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription. Available plans, billing periods, prices, trial availability, and renewal details are displayed in the app before purchase. Pricing is shown in your local currency and may vary by region or platform.
2. Billing
Subscriptions are sold and billed through Apple App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android. We do not process payments directly and do not receive your full payment card details. Your store account is charged at purchase confirmation and at renewal unless you cancel.
3. Auto-Renewal and Cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, or as otherwise required by your app store's rules. You can manage or cancel through your store account. Deleting TastePapa or deleting your TastePapa account does not cancel your app-store subscription.
4. Free Trials and Promotions
If a trial or promotional price is offered, eligibility, duration, and price after the trial are shown before enrollment. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and your store account will be charged.
5. Pro Features and Limits
TastePapa Pro may include:
- Higher or unlimited access to AI recipe ideas, Ask Papa, recipe chat, and kitchen/grocery assistance.
- Web, social, photo, and camera recipe imports.
- Build My Week, meal planning, prep guides, groceries, kitchen-item management, and recipe organization features.
- Nutrition estimates, recipe translation, and other premium tools we add over time.
Free-tier users may receive limited monthly access to imports, scans, recipe generation, and chat features. Specific feature limits, availability, models, and quotas may change to protect reliability, cost, and abuse prevention.
6. Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. We do not process refunds directly. Where required by law, you may have additional cancellation, refund, or withdrawal rights.
7. Price Changes
We may change prices for new subscribers at any time. For existing subscribers, price changes will be handled according to applicable app store rules and legal requirements. You may cancel before a new price applies.
8. Service Interruption
Pro features depend on app stores, AI providers, Firebase, networks, and third-party services. Temporary unavailability, provider changes, quota protection, rate limiting, or maintenance does not entitle you to a refund except where required by law.
9. Changes to These Subscription Terms
We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app, website, or email. Continued use of the subscription after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
