Why can social imports take longer?
Instagram and TikTok posts sometimes need background processing. If the app offers "hide and notify," you can leave the screen and TastePapa will notify you when the recipe is ready.
What should I include in a bug report?
Include the screen name, what you tapped, what you expected, what happened instead, and whether it repeats. Screenshots help when the issue is visual.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open Settings > Subscription and tap Restore purchases, signed in to the same Apple or Google account used for the original purchase.
How do I manage or cancel TastePapa Pro?
Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play. In TastePapa, open Settings > Subscription > Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
How do notifications work?
TastePapa can notify you when imports finish, when fridge items are nearing expiry, and when meal-plan reminders are relevant. Adjust these in Settings > Notifications.
Why does a recipe say I'm missing ingredients?
TastePapa compares recipe ingredients against your fridge, pantry, and grocery data. Pantry staples are treated leniently so the app doesn't over-warn for items you almost certainly have.
Can I manually edit my meal plan?
Yes. Meal Plan supports manual entries, AI-generated weeks, and individual day edits. You can keep full control or let TastePapa fill the week.

The preparation guide organizes a planned week into a smarter cooking sequence — what to prep first, what overlaps, and what to chill ahead. It's part of TastePapa Pro.
Can I use TastePapa in Portuguese?
Yes. Brazilian Portuguese is supported across the app — UI, voice input, notifications, and recipe translation. Switch in Settings > Language.
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings > Account > Delete account, or follow the web deletion guide. Deletion is permanent. Cancel any active Pro subscription separately through your Apple or Google account.
